Of Anthers and Filaments

Hibiscus has definitely become my latest muse. The variety and variations in colors she offers, the shapes, textures and arrangement of the petals and the sizes of the flowers! Just too much!

I remember enjoying studying about the parts of a flower with a hibiscus that just stuck too close to my heart... And i still think anthers and filaments look their prettiest in a hibiscus variety!

  9. Growing up I only knew one color of Hibiscus or Gumamela as we call it in the Philippines. Now I am amazed on how many different colors it has and how beautiful they are. ^_^

    1. :) Glad you liked them all. There are lot more colors and varieties of hibiscus... They all need a lot of sunlight which is in demand in my garden!

  10. Look at them all! And wonderfully captured. If I HAD to pick, it would be the white with the pink edges :)

  15. The yellows are especially gorgeous. I had one years ago and proved once again that I'm not much of a gardener. **sigh**
